The Installation Process

Installing granite countertops is not a project for the do-it-yourself homeowner.  Installation must be left to the professionals who have the right training and equipment.  A typical installation can take the better part of a day.  At your scheduled installation, we ask that you clear the work area of any objects and clear a path for the installers to carry the granite.  Please keep in mind that there may be some final cutouts to be made in your home, and therefore may be some residual dust over the next couple of days.  Our installers are prepared to catch the majority of dust.

We recommend that drawers be removed and items under the cooktop and sink cabinet be removed to allow access.  Rocktops will disconnect your plumbing for you.  Success of a granite countertop installation includes attention to leveling the countertop.

Your professional Rocktops installers will review the process with you and will answer any questions you may have.  They will also discuss proper care of your granite with you.
